Why work with me

Stop working around
your software.

Built around how you operate

Off-the-shelf software is built for everyone, so it never quite fits anyone. I build yours around the way your business already runs — no forcing your crew to bend around someone else's product.

One point of contact

Email or call me. No account managers or project coordinators between you and the person doing the build.

Priced for the prairie

Rates that reflect central Alberta overhead — not what Calgary and Edmonton agencies charge for the same work.

Recent work

A scheduling and job-tracking app for an Alberta electrical contractor.

I built Stettler Electric a custom app that keeps the office and the crew in the field on the same schedule. Job scheduling, time tracking, progress reports, and customer management — desktop for the admin team, mobile for the techs on-site.

Common questions

The questions I get most.

Why custom — why not just buy something off the shelf?

Off-the-shelf software is built for everyone, which means it doesn't quite fit anyone. You end up shaping your business around the tool — extra steps, exports to spreadsheets, new hires trained on workarounds. A custom build goes the other way: the software is shaped around how your business already works. Less friction, less drift, no monthly bill that climbs every year.

Why are your prices lower than agencies?

I'm a solo developer with low overhead. No office, no account managers, no layers between you and the person doing the work. That keeps my prices well below what an agency charges for the same work — and it means you talk directly to the person building your project.

Do you work with businesses outside Alberta?

Yes. Most of my clients are in central Alberta. If your project is a fit and we can schedule around the time zones, distance isn't an issue.

Websites or apps — which do I need?

A website is for your customers. An app is for your crew. If you're trying to sell a product, explain services, or attract leads, you need a website. If you're trying to coordinate a team, track a workflow, or replace a mess of spreadsheets, you need an app. When it's genuinely both, we talk.

How long does a project take?

Websites: 1–6 weeks depending on scope. Applications: 3–12 weeks, longer for custom production systems. I'll give you a firm timeline with the written quote before any work starts.

What happens after launch?

You own everything. Every project ships with a 30-day bug-fix warranty. After that, ongoing support and new work are quoted as they come up — no recurring commitment.

How do we get started?

Fill out the short form, or give me a call. I'll respond within one business day to set up a discovery call, usually 20–30 minutes by phone. No pitch, no pressure.
