What I work on

Two things, mostly. Websites that need to do more than a Squarespace template can handle — usually for established businesses with enough moving parts that a cookie-cutter site starts to creak. And internal applications — scheduling tools, job-tracking apps, the software a crew actually uses every day to get the work done.

The common thread: clients who know their business better than any template does. I build software that bends to the way they already work, not the other way around.

Why central Alberta

I live and work here. Clients get a developer in the same time zone who understands what it's like to run a business in a small town — one where word-of-mouth still matters and a handshake still means something. That's a real advantage over offshore developers who don't know the context, or urban agencies that don't know the economics.

I primarily serve central Alberta — Stettler, Red Deer, Camrose, Drumheller, and the towns in between. Calgary and Edmonton work too. Outside the province, it depends on the project.

How I work

Solo. No account managers, no project coordinators, nobody between you and the person writing the code. That keeps my overhead low and my prices honest — and it means you're always talking to the person who can actually answer the question.

Every project starts with a discovery call where I try to understand what you're actually trying to fix. Then a written quote — fixed price, clear scope. Then I build. Then you own it.

Background

I've been writing software for more than a decade. Most recently I built a scheduling and job-tracking app for Stettler Electric, an electrical contractor — the kind of full-stack project that touches desktop, mobile, and everything in between. Before that, a mix of marketing sites and internal tools for businesses across central Alberta and beyond.
